We took Bandi to a British Riding Clubs qualifier yesterday for Area 5, which was for the Championships at Festival of the Horse and he won it! It was a combined training competition where we had to do an advanced riders test (Advanced test 13) and a style jumping round over 7 fences where you were marked out of 10 for presentation and riders position at each fence and then marked overall for position, balance and security. There were some nice horses and riders in the class so I was really pleased to qualify, especially considering this was the first time Bandi or I had done a combined training competition. The championships will be held on the 4th & 5th June, so lots of training before then, as the senior overall winner receives a training bursary of £1,000!
